Joyce Banjac, Ph.D.
Joyce Banjac is a higher education consultant with a powerful mission. Serving colleges and universities that recruit, admit, retain and graduate students who are first in their families to attend college, her consultancy practice engenders transformative change. Joyce’s ability to inspire and transform institutions of higher learning took years to develop and hone. As an academic insider, she has over two decades of leadership and teaching experience in higher education: as an adjunct instructor, tenured business professor, b-school dean, vice-president of academics and interim president of diverse institutions ranging from liberal arts colleges to urban universities and community colleges.
As an academic, Dr. Banjac has taught in the graduate programs at Baldwin Wallace College and Myers University and in associate-degree programs at Cuyahoga Community College. Joyce has presented at international and national conferences, workshops and organizations. As a researcher, she has written and presented on entrepreneurship, organizational collaboration, ethics, leadership, personal improvement and social marketing.Schooled in higher education policy, business systems and economics, Banjac holds a Ph.D. in technical business education from the University of Akron, and a MBA and BA
from Baldwin Wallace College. She earned a higher education leadership certification from Harvard
University and a certificate in business strategy from Case Western Reserve University. She has
completed an Ohio-based mediation training curriculum, and is also a certified focus group moderator
and a certified curriculum designer (DACUM) from The Ohio State.
